/ The Role:
The Line Pilot is the commander of the aircraft. In this position, they are a critical member of the frontline team supporting the air ambulance activities. They are entrusted with the safe carriage of medical passengers and patients, and the management of Technical Crew Members during the flight. They also have a duty to safeguard the lives of those in the vicinity of the operational aircraft, which is achieved through adherence to all the regulatory and company specific rules relating to an aircraft in the air ambulance.
/ Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:
Essential
- Hold a CAA ATPL(A) or CPL(A) Licence with Multi/Instrument Rating
- Minimum of 2000 Hours Total Flight Time, of which 1500 Hours is as Pilot-In-Command of aircraft
- Experience in a challenging operational environment, with the ability to work well as part of a team and excellent Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills
- Proactive approach to service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Physically and mentally fit for the role including stretcher patient loading and shift work
- Flexible approach to rostering within the scope of the FTL scheme
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the use of MS Office applications

- Familiarity with electronic flight bag (EFB) applications
