Job description
We are an exciting and dynamic D2C start-up that operates multiple eCommerce websites in the CBD space, within the UK and Europe. We have seen exponential growth since we launched in 2019 and are expecting the same in the next few years.
We are looking to hire an energetic picker/packer to assist in the preparation and shipping of orders.
The picker/packer will be given orders to review and pack into envelopes/boxes in preparation for shipping. The picker/packer will also be responsible for quality control and will ensure customers are being sent the correct items in the correct amounts.
We are seeking positive and hard-working individuals who work well in a team. We are a small but growing team so we are looking for someone who fits in well with the current team
Excellent communication skills are necessary for this position, as is an excellent attitude and the ability to work effectively within a small team.
Experience as a picker/packer would be preferable but is not essential.
You will need to feel confident at a computer, as well as excellent timekeeping to ensure courier orders are filled out and ready for collection at appointed times.
There is an opportunity to grow within the company and take on more hours and potentially more roles in the next year and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Checking products match delivery note, before packing.
- Packaging products in the right box or bag.
- Use a computer to arrange courier collections.
- Organise placement of products for shipping.
- Ensure stocks are always stocked at required amounts and in the right boxes.
- Lifting of heavy objects.
- Ensure courier orders are ready for collection at designated times.
- Communicate with team leaders regarding low stock or faulty product.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
