Picker/Packer - Full Time, approx 40 - 42.5 hours per week to include a weekend day and four week days 7:30am to 4:30pm, for example Tuesday to Saturday.

We are currently looking for an order stock picker and controller to pick stock for inter-store transfers and customer orders as required. The main focus of work will be on picking the stock required for stock transfers between our depot's using a handheld device. You will also be required to use the computer system to identify and edit your work as necessary and communicate with colleagues as to the success and accuracy of picks.

If you enjoy physical work in a fast paced environment, enjoy working independently and as part of a team, this job could be right for you. As a picker you will have a varied role in dealing with goods and products that come in and go out of the warehouse to other stores. You will also assist with the picking of customer orders for local and courier delivery and will also be involved in the packing and despatch of orders. To be suitable for the role you will need to be able to work quickly and have a good eye for detail. This is an exciting time to be joining the Company as we develop out stock control systems to meet the challenges of modern retail.

Role and Responsibilities:

Picking orders and transfer orders from our store and warehouse

Packing & Labelling products ready for despatch

Controlling and locating incoming stock.

Communicating with the Customer Service Department

Necessary skills needed:

Basic computer skills

Time management

Multi-tasking and the ability to work well under pressure

Previous order picking/packing experience would be advantageous but not essential

Wage dependent on age and experience
