The musculoskeletal physiotherapy service operates from three locality sites within Brighton and Hove. We offer musculoskeletal rehabilitation to local populations rich in cultural diversity.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual that shares this commitment to join our physiotherapy reception team.
This post is part time and will be based at our Royal Sussex County site. There may however be a requirement at times to work from our other bases in the city.
The reception role offers an invaluable service to the physiotherapy team and patients. The post is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the service.
Key components of the role involve:
- Dealing with patients on their arrival
- Arranging follow-up appointments,
- Taking and making patient telephone calls
- Data inputting onto the Trust Patient Administration System
- Providing clerical support to the Physiotherapy Team
Experience of working with the general public is essential and previous reception experience may be helpful. The service will provide in house training to support your development with other educational opportunities available within the trust.

1. Able to update and retrieve electronic information
2. The post holders are required to have fast and accurate key board skills, which may have to be sustained when typing lengthy documents for example.
3. Competent in use of a variety of IT Systems (including Microsoft office, Excel)
4. Become familiar with and be competent in both the Physiotherapy Department’s and the Trust’s IT systems (e.g. PAS/CAREFLOW/).
