We are looking for experienced professional Electronic Notetakers to work with students and support them to gain access to all aspects of their studies.
The Opportunity:
Electronic Notetakers provide specialist, skilled support to students who are unable to take notes in classes, lectures, tutorials, seminars or laboratory sessions. These notes are usually delivered in real-time, providing the student with live access to the class, though may also be issued to the student after the session for their later use. While specialist knowledge of particular subject areas is not required a recognised formal qualification in Electronic Notetaking is required, however, we are able to offer intensive training leading to a suitable qualification to successful applicants
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Demonstrable use of note-taking technologies
- Demonstrable fast and accurate typing capabilities
- Ability to commit notes to screen accurately and quickly
- Use of language, spelling and grammar to higher education standard
- An understanding of the requirements for study at degree level (undergraduate or postgraduate, taught or research)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
