Job description

We are looking for a dynamic and forward thinking, physiotherapist to join our established therapy team at Tonbridge Cottage Hospital. The multidisciplinary team work together to provide evidence based, patient centred rehabilitation plans to patients with a variety of physical and medical problems who require an inpatient stay prior to safe return home.
The team support the fractured neck of femur pathway and have established close links with the acute orthopaedic team and the community therapy services.

Car owner/driver essential, subject to the provisions of the Equality Act (2010)

  • Completing comprehensive and holistic new patient assessments
  • Designing individual rehabilitation plans and goal setting.
  • Delivering and adapting physiotherapy interventions.
  • Co-ordinating discharge
  • Equipment provision and ordering
  • Supervising TA and rotational band 5s
  • Clinical education of students on placement
  • Collaboration with MDT
Additional Working Pattern: 22.5 (7.5 hours 3 days)
