Working within the Photography team and reporting to the Senior Photography & Video Manager, you will be the glue that pulls everything together on set, ensuring the shoot day runs smoothly. Maintaining professionalism in high pressure situations, you’ll be exceptionally organised, supporting with the planning and preparation of shoots, managing the image library and assisting in general duties within the photography studio.

Please note that this is a 12-month fixed term maternity cover contract, on a part time (30 hour) basis, based locally at our Head Office in Falmouth, Cornwall.

You’ll help us by:
- Assisting in the development of pre-season prep work – researching locations, working out logistics and assisting teams to find creative reference images for presentations and mood boards
- Liaising with and establishing relationships with model agencies to create bespoke model packages, booking models and freelancers ahead of shoots
- Overseeing purchase of food, booking travel, transfers and accommodation for the team, and organising the sourcing of props, creation and building of backdrops and sets on shoots
- Updating and managing the photoshoot checklist and creating a carefully planned schedule, ensuring the team has call sheets and brief sheets ahead of the shoot.
- Assisting the team during studio and location shoots where needed (from photographer to stylist) ensuring the team are looked after and have everything they need.
- Overseeing the making of purchase orders for photography and video invoices
- Using Capture One to make image selects, ensuring all selects are of a high standard and meet the style guide.
The skills you’ll be sharing with the team:
With a strong attention to detail, you’ll have an interest in fashion and photography, with a degree in photography or a similar degree or qualification.
Being collaborative with a strong team work ethic, you’ll be proactive and use your initiative to think on your feet.
You’ll have excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as being flexible and adaptable to the changing requirements of the shoot.
