Position: Photography Assistant
Salary: Competitive
Contract: Temporary 4 months
Role and responsibilities:
Poundstretcher is looking for a skilled and passionate individual to support the Photographer and the Marketing team during the busy season. This role would be ideal for a Graduate or Junior photography studio assistant with excellent attention to details and skills in photography and editing / retouching.
Duties will include:
- Retouching images showing technical and creative initiative
- Image editing and post production, colour checking/match images ensuring consistent colour accuracy
- Uploading/downloading images from our server and maintaining an organised file structure
- Assisting in getting products ready for shoots, steaming, unboxing, props, set.
- Ad hoc studio photography
- Assisting in off sites photoshoots
Skills :
- Strong passion and experience of photo editing/post production.
- Previous experience working within a studio and exceptional colour correcting skills would be an advantage but not essential
- Excellent attention to details
- Ability to take initiative and work calmly under pressure
- Experience using photoshop, illustrator
