Photographer / Videographer / Social Content Creator, Mission Mars, Manchester City Centre
We are looking for an ambitious, hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our marketing team at Ground Control – our Manchester based command centre. We’re after someone who is hand’s on, has a passion for creating engaging photo & video content, has strong creative skillset and understands the social media landscape.

WHO WE NEED
You will be based in our Manchester office, with travel to all our venues. As the Content Creator you’ll play a core role in the marketing team, with a hands-on approach to conceptualise, create and deliver photo and video content and deliver activity across various channels and brands.
The ideal candidate will be a confident photographer / videographer, be comfortable planning and creating content, and have a solid understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and social media planning / scheduling tools.
If you know your reel from your re-gram, obsessive about all things digital and live and breathe hospitality this is the job for you.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
- 2 year’s experience of content creation across photo and video
- Solid understanding of the social media landscape
- Proficient in post-creation editing software e.g PhotoShop, Lightroom, Final Cut, Premiere Pro etc
- Hospitality / food / drink experience preferred, but not essential
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Research and develop new content ideas for digital and social channels
- Hands on content creation at our venues to help create and deliver world-class social content
- Creation of photo and video content across food / drink and late night entertainment
- Editing of all photo and video files – proficient in the used of Adobe Suite, FinalCut Pro etc.
- Plan, prepare and schedule social content using digital publishing platforms
- Brief, manage and liase with our external content agencies or freelancers
- Support with centrally-organised campaigns, events, promotions and communications
- Support paid digital campaigns across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
- Provide weekly reports on comms and social performance providing insights to increase engagement and brand awareness
