Background
Lakeland Leather started in 1955 when Jack Standring opening his first shop in Ambleside. We’ve been crafting beautiful leather and sheepskin items ever since, and our passion for creating natural finish premium leather goods from sustainable sources remains. We’re the UK’s largest leather retailer, still family-owned, and still based in our beautiful Lakeland home.
Today we have 14 retail stores, multiple concessions and a thriving web business. Our continued success is creating growth in our web department and we are now looking for a motivated individual to join our expanding web team.

We are willing to be flexible with the role; it could be full, or part time, but due to our fully equipped in-house studio, does need to be predominantly based in Ambleside.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the E-Commerce Manager, the primary aim of this role is to support the E-commerce team and wider business, in all aspects of Content & Creative Production, including:
- E-commerce photography for own site, and marketplaces partners.
- Creative lifestyle photography for key seasonal product launches.
- Creative studio-based photography for creative collection launches.
- Post-production of photography and video elements.
- Managing product collation for shoots
- Assisting in styling products, sets and props for shoots
- Ensuring Digital File Management is maintained in good order.
- Taking pride in our photography on our own site and across our marketplaces.
- Videos… we’re looking to expand our Content Creation to cover videos this year, for both e-commerce and creative purposes.
The team adopts a collaborative approach to working, so ideas will be welcomed in how to improve efficiency, styling and quality of photography and other digital assets used throughout the company to help create a stronger, more engaging brand personality.
We’re a relatively small team, and as such, the roles and responsibilities may change and develop, but any changes will be discussed.
The role will be primarily based at our Head Office in Ambleside, although occasional role-related travel may be required. Flexible home-working will also be considered.

Part-time hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
