Job description
As one of the South Coast’s leading digital marketing agencies, we design and manage the websites, marketing and business systems for a large number of clients across Dorset, Hampshire and further afield. To help achieve our goals and ambitions for the future, we’re looking to for a skilled and creative Photographer to join our Media team on a maternity cover contract, which could well go permanent.
As part of the Media team, you will be operating from our in-house studio in Poole, as well as heading 'out and about' on location shoots for our clients too largely across Southern England. You will be included in the full creative process; working with internal client account managers and your line manager to accurately identify and understand client requirements and expectations, plus assist with the creation of tailored photography brief documents and mood boards, to allow the capture of a broad selection of photography content for all in-house and external client channels.
The perfect candidate would also have a keen interest and passion for corporate videography and the ability and willingness to assist the team with the creation of any media project.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate and set up a complete photographic studio environment for product and model photography, delivering high volume, quality focussed photographic assets.
- Fast processing & approval of assets and updating the production status plan.
- Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high quality of output and turnaround, meeting the overall brief, and working on time and on budget
- Calibration and maintenance of all studio and technical equipment
- Develop your own knowledge with regular training and share with the team
- Capture and produce product images & HTML5 moving assets, to a product brief, in conjunction with our internal web and software departments.
Requirements of the role:
- Previous experience in a commercial photography environment - at least 1 year
- Experience in an internal photo studio focussed on multi-channel asset production
- Excellent customer communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess excellent studio process knowledge & experience
- Display good project and change management skills
- Have a pro-active, positive & flexible with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Have an open-minded, flexible and positive attitude toward new challenges, with a willingness to implement new technologies
- An excellent working knowledge of corporate photography, camera & software and full Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office is essential.
- Pride in your work & your appearance as you will be an ambassador for our business
- Full UK Drivers Licence with own car
