Job Title: Photographer and Audio-Visual Equipment Operator

Location: London

Salary: £27,000 per annum

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Geminous Ltd is currently seeking a talented and experienced Photographer and Audio-Visual Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality visuals, creating engaging multimedia content, and managing technical aspects of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to plan and develop visual concepts and ideas for photo and video projects
  • Set up and manage the lighting, camera, and sound equipment to ensure optimal results
  • Select appropriate camera settings, lenses, and adjustments for each project to achieve the desired outcome
  • Use scanning and image processing tools to digitize and enhance photos, as well as achieve desired visual effects
  • Capture engaging still images or follow action sequences with the camera as required
  • Create, edit, and manage digital images and video footage for various platforms
  • Oversee the technical aspects of television and radio broadcasts, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
  • Ensure the proper functioning and setup of projectors, recording equipment, and editing tools
  • Utilize editing software to create, modify, and finalize film and television projects
  • Monitor and address health and safety concerns in the work environment
  • Use sound mixing and editing tools to achieve the desired audio balance and quality for projects

Requirements:

  • A degree in photography, film, media production, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a photographer and audio-visual equipment operator
  • Strong knowledge of various cameras, lenses, and broadcasting equipment
  • Proficiency in image and video editing software
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
