The Community Inclusive Trust (CIT) is excited to be seeking to appoint a Whole Trust Early Reading/Phonics Lead. We are a medium sized Multi Academy Trust comprising of seven special and seven mainstream primary schools across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced EYFS/KS1 teacher who will ideally be leading this phase in their current school or have undertaken this in a previous role. Early Reading knowledge and a passion for phonics is a must as schools will look to you to provide the strategies and support to help them make sure all children access high quality teaching and learning when they start in EYFS.
You will be supported in this role by the Trusts’ leadership team including the Directors of Education for Mainstream and Special Schools. The Directors will aid you in ensuring that you know the quality of provision in each of our schools and then agree a schedule of support to make sure that every child is getting the phonics and reading teaching they need in order to enhance their reading ability.
You will be based out our central offices in Long Bennington and will be required to travel to each of our schools within Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.
