Job description
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Repair Technician, specializing in the service of smartphones, tablets, and laptops, to become an integral part of our team based in Telford. The role requires someone with a robust knowledge of electronics repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detect and mend electronic faults in various devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops down to component level.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repair on electronic devices and associated equipment.
- Execute hardware repairs inclusive of replacing parts.
- Install and set up new devices and applications for clients.
- Overhaul and preserve different types of consumer electronics like smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of all equipment utilized within the workshop, including tools, workbenches, and other apparatus.
- Undertake any other tasks as directed.
Requirements:
- Must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Should possess a mechanical aptitude with a strong background in electrical repair, and if you have plumbing experience, it's a bonus!
- Proficiency in using basic hand tools is a must.
- Written and spoken English for precise and timely completion of job documentation.
