Capital Markets PR
Aspectus Capital Markets is seeking an Account Director to advise a wide range of clients in the Capital Markets space – including the Swiss stock exchange (SIX). We work with UK and international companies, of all sizes, across all sectors of the market. The selected candidate will hold the ultimate responsibility for the provision of excellent client service and securing new business in the investment management space. We are looking for an account director who can join our team to help support the growth of our business. We need someone with experience and senior media contacts in the UK market, who could act as a bolt-on to our existing team. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in Capital Markets and current affairs.
What the job entails:
- Supporting account teams with pitching stories to journalists (whether that be via email, phone or Twitter DM)
- Supporting on copywriting whether that be social posts, press releases, blogs and op-eds
- Communicating and building relationships directly with clients
- Supporting on briefing calls with spokespeople and client calls (suggesting potential angles and questions)
- Building your own media and influencer contacts (we will allocate you budget towards this)
- Supporting on all account admin – news monitoring, monthly reports and updating press lists
- Research for creative campaign ideas, competitor analysis and industry developments
- Financially literate
