As a Healthcare Assistant with our team in North London you will be working in the field supporting patients in their own homes as well as some days working from home. You will perform clinical tasks such as venepuncture and observations as well as making calls and managing enquiries relating to patients. You will keep regular contact with patients ensuring they have taken medication, requesting blood forms, and making sure bloods have been activated.

About You

You have to be well-organised to succeed in this role, as you will be responsible for managing your own workload and itinerary as well as for supporting patients in the pre assessment process prior to treatment to ensure they are well and able to receive their treatment. You’ll be travelling between patients throughout the day, so a full UK driving licence is essential. Other must-haves include being trained to perform venepuncture and a care certificate or equivalent (NVQ)
