Phlebotomist/Swabbing/Covid Tester
Collection of Blood Samples - Swabbing, Collecting Covid Test Samples
DAM Clinic, in Swansea are looking for individuals with people/computer skills, who have great attention to detail. You would be carrying out swabbing for Covid Testing, along with collecting blood samples.
It would also be ideal if you have some taking blood and Covid testing experience but this is not essential. You will be required to work some weekends over a rotating shift pattern.
As a Testing Associate, you will be an integral part of the Test Centre Team, contributing to its success.
You will work alongside other colleagues and other partners to deliver brilliant customer care to test members of the public. This will include administrative functions to ensure all tests are conducted with complete accuracy. Full training will be provided, and full Personal Protective Equipment will be supplied.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
. Phlebotomy
· Meet and greet customers arriving at the centre.
· Support the wider team by following the protocols to test and process the tested samples.
. Safe movement of samples.
· Delivers brilliant care at test centres, responding quickly to all customer needs while reassuring individuals throughout the testing process and putting them at ease
· Confidently performs the throat and nasal swab testing procedure in line with current clinical standards, while adhering to hygiene, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and NHS standards.
· Understands testing targets and goals for the test centre.
· Efficiently delivers the daily tasks and testing plan, including packing up samples, stock management, completing testing administration and procedures in line with expectations
· Follows the high presentation standards and understands their legal obligations for the site to operate safely
· Complies with all safety rules and procedures to ensure their own safety and that of colleagues and customers at all times

HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
· Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
· Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
· Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your incident reporting system;
