Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic compassionate and dedicated Band 3 phlebotomist to support the phlebotomy team through an extremely exciting time as our service changes.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that we deliver a professional comprehensive and efficient service to all our patients and service users.
The senior Band 3 phlebotomist must fully be trained in venepuncuture, point of care testing and capillary sampling on both adults and children.
The post holder must be familiar with rotas, staff supervision and training.
The phlebotomy service is based across both Warrington & Halton site and we also cover some outreach services.
This is 28 hours a week contract, however hours are negotiable.
The phlebotomy service operates from 7am until 6pm seven days a week and flexibility is required.
Weekend working is on a rotation basis to support the service demands.
