Providing phlebotomy service to private patients in our Clinic. Experienced phlebotomist to be well-organised and efficient, attention to detail, self motivated, good communication skills and excellent written and spoken English. To of worked in the UK healthcare environment and be able to demonstrate experience of providing care to patients. Competency in adult phlebotomy using vacutainer system.
To be responsible for ensuring all phlebotomy duties are performed and adhered to, to meet the highest of standards. To give quality service and understand patients requests. Ensure the patient is as comfortable and confirm their agreement to the collection of a blood sample. Accurate, legible labelling of all samples to confirm patient identity.
Liaising with and assisting members of the administrative team. Complete mandatory training within time frame given.
Be responsible for orders and the cleanliness and standards of the Clinical room. Follow policies and procedures, reports and paperwork, keep documentation up to date along with following GDPR regulations.
There may be occasions, a requirement to carry out other tasks - whether this be in our Lab or along with some administrative work, dependent on workload.
Job Types: Zero hours contract, Part-time
Part-time hours: 12-30 per week
Salary: £10.50-£15.00 per hour
