Job description
The Dispensary Senior Pharmacy Technician will work collaboratively with the Dispensary lead. They willassistthe senior dispensary team to deliver a high-quality patient focused dispensing service and support the day to day running of the dispensary. The post holder willassistin the review of the dispensary service provision and promote quality improvement by sharing findings for learning and areas of good practice with the dispensary team.
To work under the direction of the Dispensary Manager, deputise the role of Team Lead when required.
To work at Corbett, Guest and Russell's Hall Hospital Pharmacy.
To be aware of and understand all written Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accurate supplies of medicines are made.
To ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the dispensary in conjunction with the Dispensary Manager, facilitating the co-ordination of the dispensary team.
To support with training for dispensary/rotational technicians.
