Western Elms & Circuit Lane Surgeries are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team! We offer competitive pay and benefits.
We are a forward thinking, multi-disciplinary GP surgery looking for an enthusiastic technician to help support the Clinical Pharmacist team. You will be involved in supporting the delivery of repeat prescribing, medicines optimisation, clinical audits and much more! Full training and support will be given.
Job Responsibilities:
· To support the practice pharmacist in delivering repeat prescriptions in a timely and safe manner.
· To support the Practice Pharmacist in answering medicine related queries from patients.
· To support the Practice Pharmacist in answering medicine related queries from other Healthcare Professionals and administration staff.
· To support the delivery of clinical audits.
· To support the achievement of the practice’s Prescribing Quality Scheme targets.
· To support the achievement of the practice’s Quality Outcome Framework targets.
· To support in the delivery of routine monitoring of medication.
· To action safety alerts from Public Health England and other national bodies appropriately.
· To assist in the safe and effective discharge of patients from secondary care.
Job responsibilities will vary from time to time depending on the evolving practice workload.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £27,000.00 per year
