Job description
The post holder will provide specialist advice and delivery of the Medicines Services to SCAS and other organisations under our oversight. They will ensure the safe and effective procurement, supply and distribution of medicines throughout the Trust and other organisations supplied by SCAS. They will work with healthcare staff to ensure the safe management of medicines throughout the Trust. They will monitor the operational procedures undertaken by the Medicines Manager and the Medicines Support Workers and ensure that processes are documented in readiness for service redesign in new location. The post holder will consistently work in an accurate, effective, and efficient manner to support the provision of high-quality service to patients, Trust staff and stations.
To lead aspects of the medicines improvement plan with the support of the Head of Pharmacy.
