Job description
The post holder will commence employment as a Trainee Pharmacy Technician (student / apprentice). They will be required to successfully meet set competencies designed to develop the qualities, skills and knowledge expected to move to a Band 5 level once qualified.
The post holder will gain experience in various rotations such as clinical Pharmacy services including outpatient, daycare , and paediatric patients at the Richard Desmond Children's Eye Centre (RDCEC).
Participation will also be required in late duties and Saturdays on a rotational basis depending on service requirements.
PROBATIONARY PERIOD
This post will be subject to a probationary period of 6 months.
During the probationary period, your suitability for continued employment will be assessed and provided a satisfactory standard is achieved and maintained, your employment will be confirmed. The probationary period may be extended or your employment terminated either during or at the end of probation, in line with the trust Probationary Policy. For the duration of the probation period, the notice period will be in line with contractual obligations on either side.
