7am – 5:30pm (Tuesday – Thursday)
7am - 5pm (Friday)

HWC is an independent fast-growing Logistics and Warehousing company. Our Cambridge depot houses our fleet of delivery vehicles operating across the network and delivering to domestic and commercial properties.
We’re currently looking for a Delivery Driver Assistant to join our team working across Cambridgeshire on a permanent, full-time basis. Our Delivery team play a crucial part within the business. They are the face of our brand by delivering our customers goods, predominantly garden furniture, and continuously providing excellent garden furniture. Our Delivery Drivers are important to us, giving customer feedback insights and ensuring we stay committed to delivering goods within the promised time.
This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-drop driver with great DIY skills to join our growing company and continue to provide outstanding customer service.

The Role
As a Delivery Driver Assistant, you will work as part of a two-person team to deliver and install/build furniture and seasonal goods directly to customers’ homes.
Providing excellent customer service, you will ensure customers receive a smooth and friendly furniture installation/build service.
You will work with the distribution team to load and unload furniture onto vehicles and make multiple deliveries on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Delivering product to customer’s premises (Domestic and Commercial)
- Assembly of Garden Furniture
- Ensure high levels of customer service at all times
- Loading of your vehicle
- Vehicle maintenance including carrying out daily checks
- Help in the warehouse as and when required
About You
To be considered as a Delivery Driver Assistant, you will need:
- Experience of multi-drop
- Excellent DIY skills
- Familiarity with navigation aids
- A customer-focused, detail-oriented approach
- Exceptional time management skills
- A full, valid driving licence

Interview Process
The Interview for this role will be a 2-step process as follows:
First Stage – Teams Screening Call with HR Director (30 minutes)

Due to the nature of the role, overtime may be required to meet the needs of the business.
