Clarity is recruiting for an Accuracy Checking Technician for a well-established GP partnership in South East London.

What you need to know:
This is a permanent full time role, 37.5 hours a week. No late nights past 7pm. Great team in place to help you!

What you'll be doing:

The GP Practice Pharmacy Technician is responsible for supporting the delivery of safe, effective and efficient pharmacy services within a general practice setting. This includes a range of tasks, such as:

• Preparing and dispensing medicines
• Administering medicines
• Providing advice and support to patients on their medicines
• Managing the pharmacy inventory
• Maintaining the pharmacy records

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medicines in accordance with the patient's prescription and the relevant guidelines
• Administer medicines to patients as instructed by the doctor or nurse
• Provide advice and support to patients on their medicines, including how to take them correctly, potential side effects, and interactions with other medicines
• Manage the pharmacy inventory, ensuring that there are sufficient supplies of medicines to meet patient demand
• Maintain the pharmacy records, including prescription records, dispensing records, and patient medication histories
• Liaise with other members of the healthcare team, such as doctors, nurses, and pharmacists
• Participate in continuing professional development activities to maintain and develop their skills and knowledge

What we Require:

• Diploma in Pharmacy Technician Studies or equivalent
• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
• 1-2 years' experience in a pharmacy setting ideally with a GP practice
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £24,070.55-£34,842.16 per year
