Dispenser (Qualified or Non Qualified) – Competitive Salary – Full Time 32-35 hours per week inc some Saturdays)

We have a fantastic opportunity for two Dispensers to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone to join a successful independent pharmacy, partnering with the local community, local surgeries, and nursing Homes. We have just inherited more patients after a local pharmacy reduced its hours and we need you to join our team.

What you need

Fully funded national accredited training to achieve qualifications will be provided after a three-month probationary period. To be successful in this role you will be a hardworking team player who is a detailed oriented person who works methodically, accurately and displays excellent customer service at all times. In addition, you will have:

What you can expect:

You will be required to work in the dispensary assisting the relevant Pharmacy Manager in providing an efficient and professional dispensing service in line with company policies and procedures. Whilst always maintaining excellent customer service, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner, enhancing the success of the pharmacy.

Key accountabilities will be:

  • To ensure customer prescriptions are received and dispensed in a timely manner
  • To reduce Owings by managing the optimum stock levels
  • To fully comply with SOPs to ensure patient safety
  • To support and proactively seek opportunities to increase revenue by actively promoting appropriate services. to meet customer needs, maintain and grow the profitability of the pharmacy
  • Help prepare medicine trays.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £21,000 - £23,000pa based on 40hr week. Higher based on experience.

  • Pharmacy: 1 year (preferably)

Salary: From £21,000.00 per year
