PLEASE REFER TO THE ATTACHED JOB DESCRIPTION FOR FULL DUTIES OF THE ROLE. Duties of the Post: To dispense and where appropriate check prescriptions for inpatients, discharged or outpatients as per standard practice at CHS To assist in the replenishment of medicine supplies to wards and other departments. To ensure that the working areas are maintained in a clean and tidy condition, free from unwanted materials and equipment. To ensure that any faults or damaged equipment or facilities are reported immediately to the Senior Technicians or Pharmacists.
To be aware of Health and Safety/COSHH issues regarding handling of potentially hazardous materials and comply with policies and procedures relating to their handling. To promote and participate in the concept of clinical governance to pharmacy. To participate in rotas covering evenings, weekend, and bank holidays To undertake other reasonable duties to meeting the needs of the service as directed by the Chief Pharmacist/Pharmacy Business Manager.
