Carpe Diem Beds, is a Swedish Luxury furniture and lifestyle brand. We specialize in luxury beds and accessories that are hand-crafted in Sweden.
We are currently recruiting a sales associate to join our London team, and help us drive more sales.
This is a full-time vacancy, paying £25-30k (depending on experience) + uncapped commission and team bonus.
Day-to-day activities will include:
- Promoting and sell the company’s extensive range of articles.
- Supporting the Sales Manager in the day-to-day management of the showroom.
- Advising customers based on their requirements, utilizing showroom stock, brochures and other marketing materials, and discussing different models and fabric options through a full consultation. In addition to this you’ll have the opportunity to propose alternatives to stock, such as custom order items, and suitable fabrics based on the customer requirements including style and budget.
- Creating quotations, sales receipts and delivery notes for all inquiries and sales. All paperwork should be correctly filed and entered in their sales order system - attention to detail are required for all orders to ensure delays and errors are minimized.
- Following up on leads generated through marketing initiatives, direct mail and showroom visits to ensure all sales potentials are realized.
- Liaising with the logistics and warehouse team to ensure all orders are fully paid prior to delivery.
- Assisting in events such as trade shows or in-store events when required
The ideal candidate’s must be:
- Switched on, outgoing and enthusiastic
- A strong retail sales background - preferably 3+ years experience of high-end/luxury sales within the furniture sector.
- A good knowledge of design, trends and styles (in particular within the interiors sector).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with sound administration and IT competence
*Please note, this role requires you to rotate between 2 different locations situated within 15 minutes of each other, and the rota shall be set out by your manager.
Working days - Monday to Sunday with occasional weekends off to be set out by management, in which some days you may be required to work from 10AM - 6PM and other days from 10.30AM - 7PM depending on the established schedule.
