Pharmacy Dispenser

We are currently looking for a Pharmacy Dispenser to join a dynamic Pharmacy Team. A motivated individual who wants to progress their career with a forward-thinking company. This a varied and exciting role, which would be a great next step in your pharmacy career!

The Candidate:

• Degree in Pharmacy or experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser or Technician.
• NVQ2 Dispensary Assistant Course / NVQ3 Dispensary Technician Course desirable.
• Effective communicator and good IT skills.
• Understanding of the Pharmaceutical Council Codes of Professional Conduct, Ethics and Performance and their implications for practice.
• Good communication and Management skills
• Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi or Gujrat Language is an advantage

The role and responsibilities:

• As a Pharmacy Dispenser you will be picking stock and dispensing private and NHS prescriptions.
• Communicating with patients by email and phone, solving queries and referring enquiries to the pharmacists.
• Maintaining pharmacy inventory and stock levels. Placing orders for more stock if needed.
• Preparing medicines for the team of pharmacists to dispense, preparing labels, quantities needed.
• Working alongside Royal Mail to ensure efficient dispatch of orders.
• Previous experience of working within a hospital or pharmacy setting is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided
• Understanding of the Pharmaceutical Council Codes of Professional Conduct, Ethics and Performance and their implications for practice.
• Good communication and Management skills
• Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi or Gujrat Language is an advantage

Salary: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
