Operations Associate

About us:
At Flex Living, we believe renting a home should be as easy as buying an item from Amazon, which means ensuring our guests have an abundance of choice and flexibility to cancel if their plans change. We aim to help landlords stop paying excessive management fees and help renters live and work comfortably anywhere in the world.
Since our launch in 2019, we have doubled in size every six months, and have already launched Flex Living in multiple cities around the world. You’ll be joining us during a very exciting stage of development within our company.
About the role:
The ideal candidate is a future leader who is willing to work hard in order to grow exponentially in a short period of time. You will undertake various tasks and learn how a high-growth, early-stage PropTech company gets built from the ground up. By working directly with the founders, you will be professionally mentored whilst assuming diverse responsibilities. There will be ample development and growth opportunities to progress into more senior roles. As an Operations Associate, you will be the face of our company and learn how all aspects of our company operate.
Some of the tasks you will be doing are noted below:
- Onboarding & Coordinating: Liaising with landlords, attending handovers, coordinating with the refurbishment team, daily coordination with the maintenance team to ensure property completion, visiting properties and gathering specific information needed by the team.Conducting inspections of our properties and reporting any issues to the property team, to ensure all our properties are in immaculate condition for our guests.
- Viewings: Scheduling and attending viewings of new potential properties in different locations around London. Providing property reports for our sales team once viewings are complete
- Process Re-engineering: As a start-up, our Co-founders are constantly looking for ways to improve our processes. Successful candidates will be individuals who are intelligent problem solvers who are up to this challenge.
About you:
There is no prior industry experience required. However, our ideal candidate:
- Has a Bachelor’s degree
- Has strong written and verbal skills
- Has Excellent organisational skills
- Is driven to go above and beyond.
- Has the ability to work under pressure.
- Is prepared to challenge things and seek solutions.
- Is able to work autonomously but also as part of a team
- Is a genuinely nice person

Salary: £22,000 – £25,000
Job Type: Full Time (in office)
