Job description

We are looking for a dependable and responsible individual to fill our Pharmacy Dispenser position. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has previous experience dispensing medications, providing excellent customer service and has the ability to work flexible hours. This is an exciting opportunity for a caring individual committed to providing excellent self-service while delivering great service to others.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medication to customers.
• Have basic knowledge of medication.
• Know how to amend medication dosage amounts if needed.
• Know how to use scales at the pharmacy.
• Manage inventory levels of pharmaceuticals, and know when to call suppliers for more stock.
• Arrange inventory in the pharmacy storage area.
• Manage inventory levels of medications, ensure that all necessary inventories are filled, and know when to call suppliers for more stock.
• Keep record of all medications sold, including tracking expiration dates and returns.
• Sell medications over the counter.
• Know what medications can interact with other ones.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £9.50-£12.59 per hour
