We are currently looking for both part time and bank delivery drivers for our pharmacy in Nunhead/Peckham, South London pharmacy. You will need to have a full UK driving licence and be able to make your own way to our Pharmacy in S15. You will Share responsibility of deliveries with another delivery driver and so will need to cover each other’s time off. You will be required to work alternate Saturdays.

Job Purpose

To make deliveries to branches, patients and customers in accordance with all Company procedures, using a Company Vehicle.

Tasks and Responsibilites

• To deliver and collect goods, prescriptions and documentation safely, promptly and accurately to branches, institutions, customers and patients in accordance with the company procedures
• To complete and submit all relevant paperwork relating to vehicle and the collection and delivery schedule
• To maintain a safe vehicle and drive it safely and courteously
• To undertake repeat prescription ordering and collection as delegated by the Pharmacist.
• To ensure a reliable audit trail of all prescriptions and deliveries is maintained by keeping accurate records using the delivery log
• To deal with the public, customers and healthcare professionals in a prompt, courteous and friendly manner
• To assist with other branch duties as requested by the management if trained so to do
• To cooperate with other drivers and management to ensure an economic and effective delivery service. Be proactive in suggesting new ways of working and efficiency.
• To be comfortable with using computers/tablets to enter deliveries onto the system
• Being able to speak other languages would be an added advantage, but not necessary
• To deliver good in accordance with GDP between the warehouse and the branches on a daily basis.
