You’ll deliver medication to our customers and collect prescriptions from doctors’ surgeries in the Cambridgeshire area. But as a Pharmacy Delivery and Collection Driver (PDC) you deliver much more than this. As part of the PDC team you’ll deliver brilliant care to all of our customers every day. You’ll want to achieve the highest professional standards in the way you drive, your appearance and the way you show up. You will be proud of what you do and be recognized as someone who makes a real difference to others’ lives.
How will you do it? This is more than just being a delivery driver. You will be handling important medication and ensuring it gets to where it’s needed. You’ll be taking it to some of the most vulnerable people in our society. You’ll know how important it is to make sure this is done carefully and safely. Customers know you; trust you and they will rely on you to make sure they get their medication when they need it.
What you’ll need to have: We’re looking for somebody with a friendly personality. It’s all about working together as one great team – after all it’s our people that are at the heart of our business.
This vacancy is a part-time self-employed basis, however is conditional upon successfully completing the probationary period.
Important:
- You will be using the company's vehicle to carry out deliveries.
- The job involves lifting and carrying tote boxes containing medicines.
- You will be subjected to a basic DBS check.
The proposed shift pattern is:
Monday to Friday from 5.00pm - 9pm
