A high end pharmacy which is customer centred, where you will work in a relaxed and friendly environment. Diverse OTC and dispensary needs AND mainly dealing with private prescription patients.
As a Pharmacy Counter Assistant you’ll be part of a team focused on helping patients feel good, giving clear advice on health, pharmacy products and counter medicines, as well as the services on offer. This involves working across the retail needs and counter medicine advise. You will often be the first contact for the customer and as such it is essential you have a friendly personality and excellent communication skills. Being a counter assistant at the pharmacy does not limit you to one role, it requires you to be able to multi task.
Your role will involve:
Ensuring patients receive a friendly, attentive service.
Have knowledge of pharmacy and OTC medicines
Be able to advise on skin care products( ongoing training available)
Ordering and checking of received goods
Keep the shelves tidy, stocked, and clean
Adhere to cleaning duties.
Communicating with patients regarding prescriptions and over the counter queries
Supporting the delivery of professional services in the pharmacy
Assisting in improving over the counter sales
Training and providing advice on over the counter medicines, vitamins, skincare etc
What you'll need to have and learn:
Previous experience of working within a pharmacy with proven product knowledge .Medicine counter assistant qualification & IT literacy.Training will be provided towards certification and development.
Be presentable and show professional approach.
We stock vitamins, supplements and natural products as well as many high end skincare brands. Experience in working in similar environments with similar products and brands is preferred.
Ability to work as part of a healthcare team. Passionate and enthusiastic about providing patient care.Excellent communication skills and customer rapport.
Arabic speaking essential.
Organised with knowledge of Microsoft, Excel.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent (45 hrs/ week)
Salary: £22,500 pa plus bonus on targets.
28 days holiday( inc public holidays)
