If so, would you like to join our exciting mental health pharmacy team in Luton. Embedded into the multidisciplinary team, the pharmacy team actively seeks innovative ways of improving services. You must be able to show compassion and respect for people with mental health problems and be driven to improve their care through medicines management.
The Trust serves a diverse area namely: Bedfordshire and Luton and East London (Newham, City and Hackney and Tower Hamlets). The areas served by the Trust are the most culturally diverse and deprived areas in England and therefore provide significant challenges for the provision of mental health services.The successful candidate will undertake pharmacy-related duties across Luton & Bedfordshire Mental Health Services. You will provide technical support to the Inpatient Mental Health wards in order to improve medicines management, patient safety, rationalization of medicines, reduction in waste, safe and efficient receipt, storage and supply of medicines.

Ideally, you will have experience working within community or hospital pharmacy; however we are happy to receive applications from candidates who are keen to start their pharmacy career and have relevant transferable skills and abilities (refer to person specification in the job description).
Must have NVQ level 2 Certificate in Pharmacy skills or equivalent
