What Are We Looking For?
We are recruiting for Pharmacy Assistant/ATO's to join our Pharmacy team at Cleveland Clinic London. This is an exciting opportunity which will allow you to develop your skills and experience in an acute and unique environment.
You will work in varied areas of the hospital. Your duties will include various technical tasks, such as participating in the day to day dispensing work and help dispensary technicians to achieve all the daily goals, pharmacy housekeeping, such as dealing with phone calls and deal with the inquiries and other non-technical tasks. You will work under the direction of Pharmacy Technicians & Pharmacists following all written procedures. In this role it is important to develop and maintain strong working relationships with other caregivers on the wards/theatres and answer/direct any queries to appropriate member of staff within the pharmacy team. You will also be playing important role in Aseptic services provided by CCL pharmacy.
What We Need From You:
You will have GCSE or equivalent and an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy services (or be willing to work towards it). Naturally you will have good verbal and written communication skills as well as good numerical skills. It will be important that you are able to keep accurate records.
Ideally you will have previous experience working as a pharmacy assistant or experience working in a Hospital and/or pharmacy environment – however this is not essential.
