Job overview

This role is to support the CFT pharmacy team with administration tasks to cover a member of the team who is going on maternity leave. There is no need to have previous pharmacy experience. It is a part-time (22.5 hrs per week) role. The fixed term contract will end at the end of November 2023.

We are a friendly team situated over 2 main sites. You will have the option to be based at Bodmin Hospital or Camborne Redruth Hospital. Home working may also be possible where appropriate.

All training on any new systems will be provided. Good Microsoft office computer skills are essential.

Main duties of the job

  • Audits
    • Version control and changes
    • Database maintenance
    • Ensuring correct versions are sent to N&E SLA team
    • Sending reminder emails
    • Arranging any re-audits
    • Conducting audits
    • Quarterly CD audit reports
    • 6 monthly storage audit reports
    • Annual list of percentages
    • Quarterly CD reports
  • Admin
    • Phone and email inbox cover for monthly MOSC meeting
    • Phone cover whenever required e.g., for sickness, meetings etc.
    • Forwarding email and messages to appropriate team member
    • Minute taking for meetings
    • Ordering supplies for office e.g., doop kits, stationery
  • Stock lists
    • Annual stock list review: saving and distributing documents, making changes, getting new versions uploaded to the intranet
    • Making changes throughout the year as requested by pharmacy team members

Essential criteria
  • Good basic education, including English GCSE or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification or experience
Desirable criteria
  • RSA II Typing

  • Administration experience within a busy office environment
  • Proven use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in the use of email and internet
