PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTION OPERATOR –

Day/Back shift Monday to Friday in GLASGOW, Curia is a leading global provider of advanced drug development, contract research and manufacturing solutions to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Curia has an opportunity for a Pharmaceutical Production Operator to join our Aseptic Manufacturing team supporting the development of new medicines, primarily sterile injectable products. This is the Gold standard in manufacturing and full training is provided, once you are qualified in this Class A GMP sterilise environment, you can work anywhere.

Hours: day/back shift 6.30am to 2.30pm and 2pm to 10pm.

You will be responsible for carrying out routine activities required for the maintenance of the clean rooms in the support of manufacturing activities, and you will be participating in the manufacture of sterile medicinal products as a validated aseptic operator.

This position is suitable to a science graduate.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES you will be responsible during for the following tasks:

· Preparation and sterilisation (as required) of equipment for use in clean rooms including components, raw materials, equipment, peripherals and cleaning equipment

· Manufacturing of products in compliance with all relevant internal procedures, cGMP and customer specific documentation

· All aspects of the final filling and associated monitoring of manufactured product in compliance with all relevant internal procedures, cGMP and customer specific documentation

· All aspects of reconciliation (Bulk solution, waste, vials, finished product.)

· Completion of batch manufacturing records, worksheets and logbooks to the required standard in support of the above activities

· Daily recording of clean room over pressures

· Participation in training sessions in support of manufacturing activities

· Ensuring Training Record folders are suitably maintained with appropriate documentation to show competency for each activity performed

· Ensure a team player culture throughout Production

· Participate in maintaining housekeeping standards and audit readiness of facility

Qualifications

· Previous experience in a similar pharmaceutical production environment is preferred

· Good understanding of GMP requirements and quality systems, gained through working in a regulated GMP environment

· Motivated team player

· Planning & organisational skills

· Great communication skills both verbal and written, showing a high degree of legibility and accuracy

· Quality focussed with attention to detail

· Focussed on delivery

· Keen to develop and improve with training

· BSc – Science is an advantage
