Due to an exciting period of significant growth we are looking to expand our team here at our Morpeth site.

Joining our team as a Pharmaceutical Process Operator, you will be a strong team player with the ability to flex to demand. Working alongside your Cell team your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manufacturing a wide variety of Pharmaceutical products according to approved procedures and SOP’s
  • Dispensing of active and non-active ingredients in accordance with the approved manufacturing procedures
  • Granulating products utilising techniques such as wet granulation, dry granulation and roller compaction
  • Compression of formulated products utilising high speed rotary compression machines
  • Carrying out equipment checks and minor maintenance work to minimise down time e.g. checking oil levels, wear on parts, changing filters etc
  • Cleaning equipment and areas following established procedures
  • Investigating and reporting problems on equipment or processes utilising established problem-solving techniques.
  • Completing all associated paperwork and computer data entry in accordance with data integrity principles and cGMP.
  • Utilising improvement techniques to support a continuous improvement culture in order to drive performance improvement

· Working to the highest safety standards, and actively monitoring the plant whilst working. Identify and escalating any safety abnormalities or directly to team leader, taking prompt and correct action to mitigate any risk.

To be successful in this role, you will be driven and proactive in your approach. You will showcase your ability learn and adapt to new ways of working. Whilst experience of operating in a cGMP environment in the Pharmaceutical industry is desirable, full training will be given.

Please note this role will be working varying shift patterns.
