The Communities & Public Health Team in Bristol City Council is looking for an ambitious person to support the Public Health Programmes and Partnership Manager and wider team in all aspects of business management, commissioning, and developing/monitoring performance and governance frameworks.

We are a friendly and dynamic team, working to develop policies and strategies to address inequality and improve the health of the population.

You will be expected to support this and work alongside a range of stakeholders and partners. This job requires you to support the team to deliver effective services that makes a positive difference to the people of Bristol.

Ideally, you will have a qualification and extensive experience in business administration, project management and using various IT applications and technology. Knowledge of public health interventions will also be useful. You will be a flexible person, adept at handling the kind of problems that often arise in a fast changing, dynamic environment.
