NEW PART-TIME POSITION:
Dog walker - Monday and Wednesdays - 9-3pm approx.
Do you love dogs? Are you happy to work in all weathers? Are you reliable? Are you interested in learning more about dog training & behaviour? Do you have some relevant dog care experience whether in an animal rescue centre, a kennels, a Canine qualification or a work placement?
Dorridge Dogs based near Dorridge, B93 8AN is a dog-walking company that has been running since 2010. We are looking for a freelance dog walker to train up. Pay is minimum wage for your age per hour plus extra to cover mileage and car costs.
We offer solo on-lead walks, puppy and cat visits and off-lead group dog walks to clients in the Dorridge, Knowle and Bentley Heath area. We are professional, and our goal is to give our clients peace of mind with fun and safe walks for their dogs. We are also dog trainers so any handling or training of dogs is based on positive reinforcement and reward based methods.
We currently walk about 100 regular dogs a week plus ad-hoc dogs who crop up from time to time. All work is carried out between 8.30am - 5pm. There is no weekend work. Work takes place all through the year, including school holidays, but you would not be needed between at least Dec. 24 - Jan 2nd as we close over Christmas.
