Pawesome Pet Sits has an exciting opportunity for an animal lover to join our exclusive team of 21 successful pet care providers!
We are currently looking for a personable and professional go getter, in the Milton Keynes area, that would like to become a pet sitter.
This role is an ideal opportunity for someone wanting additional income. Someone that maybe can work remotely, or is retired, or even someone who has another job that only takes up a few hours of their day. This job has also worked well for students only needing to attend their university for a few hours a day, or who are completing their course remotely.
Please do not apply if you do not drive, you work a full time job in an office with long hours, or have commitments requiring you to be at home in the evenings.
This job is a relaxed, enjoyable and flexible role, with excellent financial prospects. It basically involves keeping someones pet company in the clients home, and if it is a dog that you're sitting then providing them with daily exercise. Dog breeds can vary, so applicants need to be in good shape, and enjoy walking larger breeds as well as small breeds.
Due to the nature of this role meaning that the pet sitter may be in the clients most personal space, with their beloved pet, amidst all of their valued belongings, the right person for this role must be personable, trustworthy, have a love for animals and great communication skills. The successful applicant will also be required to provide a DBS check cert, and get themselves insurance.
Specific requirements for pets can vary from client to client, but it is rare that dogs can be left for more than 5 hours alone, and of course as animal lovers, Pawesome wouldn't condone dogs being left for any longer than this. So please don't apply if you have commitments that would mean your leaving pets alone for 5+ hours.
Initially the work is likely to be sporadic, but can quickly build to be very busy for the right person willing to be flexible, and who is consistently providing a good service. Our pet sitters were all booked out in 2022.

For clarification this job advertisment is for a pet sitter, not a boarder. Pet Sitting is a service in which you stay in the clients home. If you are interested in dog boarding (when the pets stay in your home) then Pawesome can help you with this and work with you, but you would need to aquire a license from your council (which Pawesome can help you get), but this would involve you completing a course, passing inspection, and paying for that license which is quite costly.
