Pet Groomer
Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners
- Groom pets according to specific breed standards or owner preferences
- Bathe, brush, and trim pets' fur
- Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment
- Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or discomfort during the grooming process
- Handle and restrain pets as needed for grooming procedures
- Communicate with pet owners about their pet's grooming needs and any concerns observed during the grooming process
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
Skills:
- Experience in pet grooming or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Ability to handle and restrain pets safely and gently
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high grooming standards
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift heavy objects, such as large dogs or bags of pet food
Please note that this job may also involve additional duties such as kennel cleaning or pet sitting, depending on the needs of the business.

- Cat Grooming: 2 years (required)
