About the Role
We have a new opportunity for a PET-CT Radiographer/Technologist to join the team in our Static PET-CT service in Norfolk and Norwich.
We are a growing department, currently switching to a digital PET-CT scanner. With further plans to increase our services.
You will ideally have a background in nuclear medicine and be experienced in handling and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals, although this would be a great opportunity for a Radiographer to develop in this modality.
Some experience in CT is also desirable but not essential for this role.
You will undertake a competency programme in PET-CT to develop your knowledge and help you gain a full understanding of PET-CT. Training will be delivered “On the Job” and in collaboration with the Christie School of Oncology via the PET-CT training academy. You will also be required to IV cannulate patients as part of the role. Rest assured, should you not have any prior experience in IV cannulation, Alliance Medical will provide full training.

As a sucsessful candidate you must be able to deomstrate:
- Patient care experience/skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organisation skills including time management
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills
- High energy level – able to collaborate across teams to achieve a common goal
- Ability to motivate self and other members of your team and appropriately delegate
- Positive approach to change
- Flexible approach to working hours
- BSc/DCR in Diagnostic Radiography
- Experienced in PET-CT an advantage
- IV Cannulation Certificate preferred
- Must be IT literate
- Enhanced DBS clearance required
- Flexibility to operate across multiple sites if required
- CT experienced desirable
