THE ROLE: Assistant Personal Stylist
We're looking for…
An Assistant Personal Stylist to support our Lead Stylist team. This role will help to provide a high touch and personalized styling experience to Clients as well as create weekly business recaps to analyze, grow & maintain client books. Our Personal Styling Program focuses on providing exceptional service for Rue La La and Gilt's most engaged members.
Stylists are sales orientated, seasoned and highly-trained industry professionals, who elevate the shopping experience for our members by connecting them with great style, cutting edge trends, amazing brands and excellent experience.
**This is a fully remote role**
What you'll accomplish…
- Provide a white-glove, high-touch experience and exceptional service that aligns with our commitment to its Members.
- Grow and maintain your own client book of business to drive sales.
- Own the fulfillment of our Still Want It and Must Have It order requests.
- Report on weekly, monthly, quarterly business.
- Consistently shop the Rue La La and Gilt sites to familiarize and stay up to date on brand and product knowledge to recognize best Client opportunities for Pre-Sale & Private Boutiques.
- Attend and actively participate in weekly team meetings by sharing productive learnings with your Manager and cross-functional colleagues.

- 2-3 years in a customer facing role. Preferably fashion and retail experience - a bonus if you have previous experience with online personal styling!
- Possess a deep understanding of the various body types and make recommendations that would flatter, fit, and complement our members' needs and lifestyles.
- Passionate about fashion, personal styling and sales.
- An extensive knowledge of current and upcoming trends, top brands, and body type styling.
- Proficiency in various online tools: MS Office Suite and Google products, excel and possess intermediate technical skills.
- A good grasp of social media sites, primarily Instagram and Pinterest.
Base Salary Range: $48,000 - $52,000
Rue Gilt Groupe is committed to providing Associates with equal pay for equal work and carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including prior experience, skills and expertise, location, and internal equity. Our goal is to support, reward and compensate the entire individual. Depending on role eligibility, your offer may also include bonus/commission, equity, 401(k) match, and a variety of benefits. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated.
