At Inner City Care, we strive to support clients and provide a high standard of care within Nottingham's local communities. You will be working alongside experienced community care assistants and will gain the responsibilities of supporting individuals with their home/personal care needs. Our ideal candidates are to promote a positive performance and friendly attitude towards our service users and other colleagues. All care assistants must have a Enhanced DBS Certificate and have experience within domiciliary care and a valid UK Driver's License.
Expected duties of the role:
- Assist clients with cleaning/shopping
- Participating in reporting concerns/completing relevant documentation
- Supporting with medication management, cooking and personal care where needed.
- Online and in-house training is provided with equipment
- Responsibility of ensuring a clean and safe environment for your client
- Organisation
- Compassion and teamwork
- Healthy forms of communication with colleagues and service users
- Travel to different areas around Nottingham (drivers only)
Requirements
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate (we can apply for this if you do not have one in date)
- Driving License with access to a car
- Flexibility over seven days is essential
- Previous experience within the care sector is preferred

Salary: £9.50-£10.75 per hour

All carers are required to wear full PPE when entering client's houses. We provide all PPE free of charge to all staff.
