About the Employer
I am looking for a PA to support my daughter. She is a young woman who needs support to access social activities in the community. She is very chatty, friendly and easy going and has a learning disability and autism. She enjoys swimming, Zumba, walking, being out and about and she loves animals.
Summary of Duties
Support:
- To access activities at the local leisure Centre
- To go for walks
- To visit local venues to see animals
- To look for volunteering opportunities in the future
- To maintain personal safety at all times.
The needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.
You may be required to undertake any training that is considered necessary and appropriate to your role.
The Person They Are Looking For
I am looking for someone with a mature outlook who can share my daughter’s interests in exercise, walking and animals. Experience of working with people with a learning disability and/or autism is preferred.
Due to the nature of the work for which you are applying, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure (costs will be covered).
The Times Required
Blocks of hours.
Days and times by agreement. Maybe an occasional Saturday or Sunday.
