Rehabilitation Admin Support Assistant

Band 4 - £25,914 to £28,187 per annum

Plus £1,201 Distant Island Allowance per annum

37 Hours per Week

The Rehabilitation Department, Western Isles Hospital, is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated person to provide Administrative support for all Allied Health Professional Managers (5) and all Allied Health Professional staff, NHS Western Isles. There are 5 AHP Departments, including Nutrition and Dietetitics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Speech and Language Therapy. The successful applicant will also act as a Personal Assistant to the Chair of the Allied Health Professions Advisory Committee.


Previous experience of working within a healthcare setting and a public facing role, and advanced computer literacy are all essential requirements for this post. You will be required to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and also as part of the Rehabilitation Department teams.
