Personal Assistant
37 Hours Per Week – May consider part time
NMW for age group if unqualified
£21,500 per annum for candidates with Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent

In this role you will ensure service users:
- Have care and support that meets CQC essential standards of quality and safety that respects their privacy, dignity, and independence and protects their human rights
- Are supported to have adequate nutrition and hydration.
- Are supported to have their medicines at the times they need them, and administered in a safe way.
You will do this by:
- Having good working knowledge of the care and welfare needs of the individual you are caring for / supporting as contained in their individual file and care plan.
- Performing light household tasks as required for example washing
- Maintaining and respecting confidentiality at all times, except where management need to be kept informed to ensure the care, support and protection of both the service user and the personal assistant; safeguarding or matters of wider public interest.
- Providing clearly written and concise reports in the service users’ report book/diary/log as necessary.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have manual handling training with a hoist
- Have a good understanding of the mental capability act
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding vulnerable adults
