What you'll need

We are looking for two experienced PAs to provide an enhanced professional level of support to our Executive Director Team.

The roles will require the successful candidates to provide a comprehensive and confidential level of proactive professional support. The role forms part of a team of the Executive Support function working alongside the Corporate Leadership Team, who are responsible for the strategic development and implementation of the Council’s strategic priorities.

As a highly professional Personal Assistant, you will be required to work independently as well as in a small team and be able to deal effectively and proactively with all matters on behalf of the Executive Director, being able to escalate confidential and sensitive matters as well as resolving issued as appropriate using your own professional judgement and knowledge.

You will organise the Executive Directors’ office functions, manage their diaries and inboxes ensuring efficient and professional operations whilst communicating with a range of stakeholders, staff, and customers. You will ensure that data and information is collated, managed, stored, and shared appropriately and have excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to present clear information in verbal, written and digital formats.

You will have a flexible attitude and be able to handle change effectively and find solutions using your own initiative, with the ability to work under a high degree of pressure including meeting unpredictable deadlines and dealing with conflicting demands. Your approach to tasks will be methodical and organised with an eye for detail.

Do you have in depth experience of providing PA/secretarial and administrative support to a senior manager or company board of trustees? Do you have excellent communication skills? Do you have excellent written and minute taking skills and the ability to compile well-written and grammatically correct documents and letters? Are you a highly organised individual, able to effectively and efficiently plan and organise your own workload, work to deadlines and facilitate the progression of important events and issues?
